Selway Machine Tool Co. announces the promotion of Pat Hayes to V.P of business development. Hayes has consistently been the top senior sales consultant for Selway, covering the Bay Area & Silicon Valley.
“Pat started with us in 1995. Over the years he has demonstrated the ability to successfully support our customers with the appropriate solutions. Because of the strong customer relationships Pat built, he naturally began to look for new technologies that benefit the Selway customer,” president Bill Selway said. Over the past few years Pat has taken on the responsibility of looking at new solutions and technologies that enhance Selway Machine Tool’s existing CNC machine tool portfolio. This new responsibility does not mean Hayes is stepping away from supporting his sales territory. Instead he has built a support team of jr. sales associates & sales admin to assist in managing his dual role.
“Pat has done a tremendous job networking within the industry by collaborating with our customers, trade organizations, suppliers, and internal support teams to identify out of the box solutions and help customers consistently achieve excellent manufacturing results,” stated Joe Madden, COO.
Pat not only brings years of experience but a passion for new manufacturing technology and processes. Prior to his work with Selway, Pat was a top sales consultant for one of the iconic sales corporations at the time. He will be working with sales, service, & engineering departments at all Selway Machine Tool Co locations.
“I am excited to expand upon the role of VP of business development at Selway Machine Tool Co. Looking out for new technologies that will aid in my customer success is something I have always done,” Pat stated. “This promotion will not however, take me away from supporting my existing customers; the team I have assembled will ensure that. I look forward to working with our regional offices to expand their offerings.”
