Lee’s new role reflects the expan- sion of Vero Software’s presence in the Pacific Northwest and the exten- sion of even greater levels of support to existing and potential customers in the region. “I feel grateful to be part of this organization and I am eager to make a positive contribution by applying my talents and passion to my new role,” said Lee, who earned a bachelor’s de- gree in economics from Arizona State University and most recently worked as an account manager selling 3-D computer graphics software programs. Acquisition of System Integration Specialist Strengthens CAM Applica- tion Capabilities Hexagon AB has completed the acquisition of FASys Industrie-EDV- Systeme GmbH, a German system integration specialist and provider of software and hardware solutions for production-oriented tasks. FASys has an established working relationship with the Hexagon-owned CAD/CAM specialist Vero Software, and the acquisition enhances Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence’s solution offering in the production areas of the manufacturing process. FASys is a vendor of manufactur- ing software solutions, including DIN 4000/4003-based tool and resource management and the integration of presetting and CNC machines (DNC). Walter Tools Hires U.S. Managing Director Walter a cutting tool manufacturer, has announced the appointment of Dan Shelton as U.S. managing director.
